Walked the exhibition hall at the NRA Convention today. Taurus displayed three new PT1911 models that should be available this fall and next year.

-Blued with an accessory rail

-Duotone

-Stainless

Great news! I have attended two of the conventions and enjoyed both. It's good exercise to walk all those displays.......and good practice for the shot show which I've never been to.

I'm looking forward to the PT1911 with a light rail the most, but I like blue over stainless two tone 1911's too.

I know this is like :dead_hors , but I sure would like to get my hands on one of those Stainless Steel PT1911's!

Indeed! On Taurus' website, they have posted some new pictures of the stainless and railed models. Very interesting indeed.

I wonder how much I'll have to pay if I want to trade in my blued for a stainless version. Hmm...

It looks like their first stainless offering will be a full-size pistol; I have waited too long for their "1911C" compact model.

At least, the stainless model will have a more durable finish than their blued firearms...
