If you guys and gals dont hear from me for a little bit of time you will know that I have gone off to rehab!!!! :o I have the virus really bad. :scared:
As you can see I seem to only be able to buy them in pairs(I guess I just dont like to break them up once they are together). Today I went to pick up the last Colt I was going to be buying for a little while (blued Gold Cup Trohy) and low and behold they just "happend" to get in a Hard Chromed Special Combat Government in 38 Super. Well what was I to do? I mean after all the THREE I already have just wasn't enough :butthead: :butthead: ( after reading this I now realize I have truly lost my mind) :o Well I hope you all enjoy the photos. I think I have found the surface for good photos. What do you guys think of the photos taken on the desk? The lines on the Gold Cup are just oil marks.

Nice guns and yes you do have the virus really really bad.
When you get a chance, check and see if rehab has a range and a gun store...........I'm not going to waste my time with a rehab that doesn't support my addictive hobby! ;)

Man those are really nice! A GCT and a SCG you really know how to pick 'em. I look forward to the range report.
Very nice Colts!

Geeesh Dude!!!! You do have the virus bad! I thought I was sick for getting 13 Colts in a year!! The way you're multiplying, you'll have a gross of them in a year! :p I hope you can still afford to eat, it would be a shame to have all those beauties and die of starvation.......unless I happen to be the heir :D Seriously, congrats on a couple of really nice looking guns!

Fear not, Patrick, because while it's true that a mind is a terrible thing to lose, a Colt is a wonderful thing to find.
And if you lose any of those SCGs, I'm available to help with the clean-up.

Joni,Hunter and Jeff,

Thank you. I am done buying for now I have most of my bases covered as far as Colts current offerings are concerned. I am keeping my eyes open for a Gunsite but other than that there is no need for anything :D Now I can sit back and slowly start working on some older stuff over time ;)

I know, Patrick, I know...
They follow me, too, of course.
But I can stop at any time. No problem, I'll just stop. It's easy.
Whoa, what's that four-inch blue King Cobra doing in my bag? I stopped; I just said so!

I am done buying for now
I have said that many times. It does help take the sting out even though we all know it is not exactly correct. :D

Thanks for pushing me over the edge...

I put a 9mm barrel in one of my Supers, so I was thinking today, I need another Super and I don't have a SCG...I've never seen a good picture of a hard chrome on either...

Back to the gunshop tomorrow I guess.... :nono:

Oh and very nice collection!!! ;)

Thanks DuckRyder now I get all the blame hmmmm, anyway you cant go wrong with a 38 super SCG. I also have a two tone in 38 Super and I love it ;)
I shoot it at the range more than the Gold Cups or any others. :o I really like the round for the range!

Good luck with your hunt you wont be sorry ;)

You bum, you've gone off the edge big time or knocked your head on that desk too hard. While you're going thru rehab, I'll keep those Colts real shiney for you in this land of low humidity. :lh:

Sounds like a pandemic of mind reading going on here, via Greece. :D

Well it seems only proper that we should have a group photo, hard chrome and two tone... :D

Again very nice collection, the HC SCG is a work of art!!!

Oh, ... Those...are a...sweet pair of...pistols. Oh,... (multilingual emphatic interjections, terms of endearment, and verbal nouns omitted to spare the software).

Why am I recognizing pairs of ordinary inanimate objects wherever I look? If someone ever speculates on the "golden numbers" for 1911s (3.5, 4.25, 5), I would suspect that multiplying by two has some exponential effect.

But, then again, I am ill...

Thanks Ab,

They do have a way of multiplying :scared: . It's like they are makin babies when I leave them alone ;)

Glad you liked them
