Job, I had a full-screen version of that picture on my computer this morning - only my version had the caption as if the Lab is saying, "What do you mean...The Easter Bunny?". I told my 2 youngest grandkids I had some sad news and to come see it on the computer. Well the youngest can't read yet and her older brother, in 1st grade, started to read it for her, then paused and asked, "The Easter Bunny is dead?" You could see tears about to start, and then his sister said, "That was the Easter Bunny?" and had this horrible expression on her face. At that point I thought it best to say that it was a joke. Later I heard the little one telling her Mom that her Pappy had played a horrible joke on her. Anyway, that picture is a classic. I have had 2 Labradors, and both have loved to chase rabbits. Unfortunately, my previous one actually caught one, much to our surprise. I took it away from him, but it was too late, so we buried it - noticing that it had rather long fur. A few days later a neighbor asked if I had happened to see their pet rabbit which had escaped since one of his kids had left its cage door open. That explained how Cocoa had managed to catch the rabbit. I never did tell my neighbor what had happened, in the interest of peace, but reminded him there had been a fox around recently. He said that he had seen the fox too.

I see it right before my eyes: "My lab? Never!! Look at those eyes. Must have been the fox." :lm:
