bluing and parkerizing

Hi all, I'd like to ask for links to sites that teach how to blue and how to parkerize.

I started working on 1911's during the 80's but stopped to follow another career. The past year I've been back to shooting & smithing. And the bluing/parkerizing has been the same 20 years ago, a quality job takes too long while all the rest have no quality at all. That's why I decided to learn the process and do it myself.

Thanks Branspop, with the info on bluing from that site, I really feel that I can do a good bluing job, although I have to test it in actuality.

What's left now is the "Parkerizing", I would like to learn how to make the parkerizing solution much like the way of making the bluing solution. I don't want to buy it as a "parkerizing solution", I want it to be a home brewed solution, simply for reasons of economy and availability.
