I just put my Marvel No.-2 unit on my PT1911. Looks nice and seems to function fine. I will try and get out to shoot it this weekend, but Easter may prevent that.

I didn't have time to test it extensively, but seemed to work O.K. with Win. HV. Again, this is the cheaper Marvel kit.

I have a threaded barrel Unit 1 Marvel unit I am running on my RIA lower.
The Pros:
AMAZINGLY accurate (best groups so far are with CCI Subsonic HP and, hold on to your hat WOLF .22 Match/Target....it feels like it is covered in cosmoline, but it is accurate in my Marvel)
Reliable with the above ammo
Great host for a .22 silencer (SWR Warlock on mine)
fun fun fun...

The Con:
The magazines are terrible to load to full capacity. I ordered a mag loader, but they are out of stock so I either have to wear a glove or pad the button to push it down to load them. They are also 40 bucks each.....

Word around the campfire is that Marvel is working on their mags, and have tested other designs....in fact, I have had the chance to examine one, and they are on the right track.

I bought mine used for 295 shipped....
I would recommend any 1911 owner to have one IF accuracy is a major consideration.
