Just got my kimber custom2 back from Marianne Carniak this week. She put an ambi safety on for me, and answered some feeding and reliability questions for me. Great improvement. Looks good. I esp like the grips with the 1/2 and 1/2 smooth/checkered. Amazing what can happen to a gun in the hands of a good smith. How's it shoot?

Shoots fantastically. Very accurate, runs great. I had a few problems with it locking back the slide prematurely, but that was apparently due to the magazines I was using - switching to proper Colt designs solved that.
