What type of dovetails

I'm posting this here because I really don't know where else to ask this question. If you have a Slide that you plan on using and needed to have dovetails cut in it. The slide over time may have different sights installed. My question is what dovetails would you have cut in the slide: Bo-Mar or Novak? Many sight aftermarket manufacturer will give you the option of which dovetail you want and I'm trying to determine which dovetail in the slide is the most versital.

The Novak low mount rear dovetail is the most common.
There must be 8 different sights available for that cut.
Thing is.......they all have manufacturing tolerances. Might be too tight, might be too loose. A little is a lot.
Choose carefully the first time. Let the mission dictate the design of the sight.
Use a smith with a reputation for 1911 sight work.
