Has anyone tried the 1911 auto frame holding fixture from Brownells. It looks a handy tool to have if it truely supports the frame. Here is the site:

If it's from Brownells, it will work as described. They are the gunsmiths go-to place...Pappy

That all depends on what you want to do to the frame. If you want to cut the rails in a mill or some other mill operation this may not be the best. Weigand and EGM make good fixtures also.
