Recoil spring fro 9mm Gov't

Anyone know off hand, what the weight of the OEM recoil spring should be for a series 80 Gov't Model in 9mm??


Just acquired it and want to do the usual spring change and extractor tweak. Thanks.

12 - 14 lbs I guess.

OEM recoil spring weight/rating is 14 lbs same as for .38 super. New toy, huh?
