Hi friends, I'm writing from Argentina and here we have a group of crazy shooters ( I am one of them ;) ) practicing IPSC with our old friends 1911 of single stack mags.
You can see how one of us resolved a stage simply following the trace of magazines along the range.... is really funny and we love it !!!
I know do you have more experience doing it in US and I'd like to contact people who practice IPSC with 7 or 8+1 in US.
We'd like to use same rules and procedures than an experienced group with the same passion for 1911 pistols.

Thanks in advance.

I have shot lots of IPSC with 8-round mags. If you are trying to make the game more suitable for guns of limited capacity, just set up your courses of fire so that there are no more than eight shots required from any shooting position. Leave enough room to reload before reaching the next position. There is a game here in the U.S. called Single Stack Classic, and it is only for single stack 1911s. See the rules at 1911society.org. There is a championship held every year, but there are smaller matches all over the country.
