Just wanted to say thanks for having this forum. I just bought a Springfield Armory GI .45. I have had several revovlers and this is my first Semi-auto. This form not only helped me decided what I wanted but also was felt to be right at home when I made my first few postings. Since then the more I read in the forum the more information I find. It seems that everyone here has quite a bit of knowledge about .45s and I know I will be able to learn a LOT
;) :D :D

Oh sure. John comes out dressed in a toga, with a bottle of retsina and a plate of saganaki. We eat, drink, and throw the dishes into the fireplace.

Opa!

Now, stop taking advantage of the fact that Mrs. Key is not around!

I know. :p :p I haven't even picked it up after the waiting period and am already looking at some of the 1911s that have all the goodies on them for target shooting. Some of those pistols are very nice looking. :D :D

I'm sorry, in my State (Colorado) we don't have a waiting period...... I would go Postal if I had to wait for my 1911...... I am thankful that I don't live in California anymore!!
Sorry, I don't mean to offend Californians..... I used to be one. I left cuz too many people in the Bay Area thought that "If only we got rid of guns, we wouldn't have the crime that we have." That kind of thinking drove me NUTTS!!! :lh:

Hi. My name is Tom. And I'm an M1911 addict.

Hmm, John dressed in a toga and Hunter in his best dress, I HAVE got to make it to the next shindig.
Bring a wad of $1 bills. We'll have them both dancing on the tables!
