1911 style market share against other pistols

Hi friends :o !
I'll be really grateful if you can tell me something about market share of 1911 style pistols in U.S.
To be more accurate, how many 1911 are sold usually per 100 units of any style and caliber ?
I own two 1911, one of them was made in 1935, and she still works perfectly.... is a very reliable gun!!!

Interesting question. I have no idea where you could find an answer, though! I believe most manufacturers (of anything, not just pistols) prefer to keep that sort of information a secret. I suppose the various governments' licensing/issuing agencies would have the information in their databases-- if they keep a database!-- but probably would have no idea, or really any interest, in searching there for the answer to your question.
