I saw the post below on the 9mm series 70, and wondered what a NIB would be worth, I may have one for $950.00 but I Thought it was high, since it may not have a large following or desirable to collect? Any thoughts? Thanks .

Since it's not in current production, it's worth whatever a buyer and seller agree to. For NIB (or did you mean "Like NIB"?) IMHO it's worth more than $950. Not that I could afford to pay that for it, but if I owned it I would NOT sell it for that.

There was one in my area that I considered in great shape that went for better than a grand. I have a Colt GCNM in 9mm and though I consider that caliber inferior for personal defense it is an excellent range caliber.

I'd say it is worth the money if it truely NIB or LNIB. I just paid a little too much for a series used modified 70 series .45acp LTW commander. I paid $759.00.

Well it's like they said, it's always worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and that is not as bad as people are getting soaked for Pythons.
I was told NIB, and I hope they didn't sell it, I will not know for another week, since the guy went on vacation. I had seen used Mk IV 9mm over $1100.00, but thought they were way off target. When I find out if it can be mine I will reply again. Thanks.

I have to agree. 950 is a fair price for the one described.

Well, if you're not interested, PM me with the contact info and I'll snatch it up! I'm lusting over a like new used one without a box at a local gun show, but the guy wants $1,200 and I just can't see paying anywhere near that much. I'd love to have one NIB like that for $950.
