Here is a picture of my latest purchase. It's one of those Limited edition one of ??? from Colt. I'm not sure which distributor it was made for. I won this gun off of gun broker and I got it for one heck of price. Last august I posted a thread about one of these guns for sale at a local store for $1100. This gun is complete and came with all the original packaging as it did when it left the factory. I'm going to call Colt and get all the info on this pistol tomorrow. Gun is 99% as Nib..... ;)

Congratulations on that "honey" of a fine Colt, Larry. I recall your original thread. I saw one similar (not anywhere near as nice as yours) at a gun show last month. The seller was very proud of his.

Once again, great acquisition. Let us know what Colt says about it.

Well Larry I try to be a square dealing sort of fella. Though that was a great deal on a nice Colt and I love Colts there are somethings not worth a friendship.

I agree, I hope you feel that way after I take you to my favorite shop on the 9th. Also FWIW I dib everything in the store..... :lm:

Well Larry I am a cat without claws now (so to speak as after a new computer, camera, and stereo I am broke). Still calling dibs on everything in the store is slightly unfair. I will make you a deal, I will leave my Visa at home if you leave me something in the store to save for.

Larry,

Congratulations! What a wonderful looking gun. Given it's pristine condition and the fact that it is a rare find, do you plan on shooting it?

Now will you guys please stop bringing up that thread AGAIN so I have to look at that gun AGAIN? (kidding)

I dont know why, but this one gets me drooling more than the noble-smith guns.
No apparent reason, no real need for a gun like that, neither cash to buy anything so sexy...but I cant stop drooling ;)

Congrats on that one, really, treat her well!

What? Keep this one as a safe queen? I would definitely shoot it and carry it. That's what it was build for.

I will see if I can at least get John on my side, ain't he supposed to be impartial?

Well I reckon I am on my own side. I really figured John and Hawk would be there for me but as I have seen no posts in my defense and daveohno has not even posted yet I stand alone.

Hunter, if it's any consellation I try to keep from jumping in on picking on you. I just laugh at what the other guys say. I try not to but I can't help myself. Well I lied I don't really try not to...it's too funny. OD assures me though that you dish out plenty off line.

Most donkeys have thick hides, don't they?

Hunter asks for help and I show up with the OD stick, poking into the cage at our poor red headed nephew, Hunter.

Therapy?????Oh, I forgot, Hunter fancies himself as a City Slicker now, sans shoes, of course!
