OD:

Sorry for the long delay posting these photos of one of my better RR M1911A1's, but at least I finally got around to it. pardon for the quality, but I did my best with this Fuji digital...

Appreciate comments from you experienced collector's regarding this Remington Rand -- she's an early 1944 in great shape...

An honest war year's 1911A1 that I gave an honest price to acquire:

Thank You for posting this fine old gun, the first 45 Auto I ever shot was one of these and I would like to have one but, those are now out of my price range. Well, at this time any way.
Thanks again

That's a real nice one. http://forum.m1911.org/images/icons/icon14.gif

Do you have any pictures of your grandfather's M1911, the one you plan to donate to the Minnesota Historical Society?

I'll take some when I take that one from the safety deposit box that I rented for certain items I own. I keep it there for several reasons, but the main one its that (heaven forbid) a disaster hits my workroom where my safes are that this one will remain protected since I have signed a 'letter of intent' with the state. I know that's a bit of paranoia, but it makes me feel better along with my wife...

Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen: :)
