First M1911a1 1941 Colt

I Recently Inherited A Us Army Colt 45 And Was Wondering If Anyone Had Any Info On It? The Markings Are Us Property But It Also Has Released British Gov.1952. Stamped On The Slide.there Is Also Some Markings That Look Like Crowns On Top Of The Slide. It Is In Very Good Condition And I Think Has A Parkerized Finish. Can Anyone Help With History Or Value? Sounds like you have a Lend-Lease pistol. They were inspected and proofed by the British Govt before release for civilian sales. There should be the "crown" marks on the slide and frame and the barrel should also have some marks and so many "tonnes per". Do you have any pictures?
