I must confess! I do own something other than Colt's. Since Paul45 posted a picture of his Luger. I thought I would post my Remington Rand. Gun is 100% correct and one of my favorites.

Larry, is the pistol a DCM purchase from the '60s? Can't read the nomenclature on the red wrapper, but looks to be a screwdriver packaged by National Needle, is that correct? Nice looking pistol.

What's the packing date on the screwdriver? July 1944. Screwdriver came from my arms room years ago when I was in the Army. Believe it or not we threw away a box full of the screw drivers I managed to keep several..... :o

I have that date along with Apr and May I believe. National Needle screwdrivers were quite rare until the past couple years.

Very, very nice...I have one, but not as nice as your, however, I still feel privileged owning it...
Mines a 1943, as original as I can tell, HS barrel and correct smaller parts, K grip stocks, not rebuilt, and enough wear to know it's been around the block...

Okay, OD, I'll take a few as long as laughter doesn't explode from this forum...my picture taking abilities with a cheap Fuji digital camera are mediocre at best. I'll try to remember after I leave the shop....

Larry,
Very nice and thanks for posting your photos. I enjoy viewing these older Ponies and learning about them.
