leave it to me to move things around my workbench area a few days earlier cause i cannot find the right tool to remove the grip screws on my 01070 XSE. what size bit (?) do i need ?

I think (if you mean the hex wrench) it's 3/32...

My 01070 XSE actually uses a tiny Torx T-8 driver.

yea. I have a Springfield that required a Torx tool for the grip screws (don't know what size). Does it look more like a star than a hex? Then it's a Torx.

thanks all (solz56, tattoopaul, and EchoBravoKilo)...it's the torx driver i need to dig up for the grip screws.
