Anyone know the factory spring rates for a Pointman 7? This is a post CZ pistol if that matters.

16 lbs is the standard for 5" barreled pistols.

Ok thanks. Do you know if they are using a standard mainspring as well?

I have no idea what they are using, but the standard mainspring is 23 lbs. Combine these with an EGW square-bottom firing pin stop and you will have one sweet-shooting pistol.

ditto, John...
DW uses a standard 23# mainspring for both the 45ACP and 10mm...

For the benefit of the search feature I just received a reply from Dan Wesson Customer Service.
According to Keith at cz-usa, they are using an 18.5lb recoil spring and a 18lb mainspring.

Hmmm, interesting departure from the Browning standards.

Sure is. I just ordered the factory standard springs to go with the new firing pin stop. The different springs is likely why I didnt notice a big difference at the range the other day.
