I have two springfield ultra carry v10's. One was made in 2003, stainless, ambi saftey, novak sights, Hogue grips, great little shooter. The other one I have was made in 1997 and is a mil spec version. I have changed the guide rod to a two piece wilson full length but other that that it is still all original. I am wanting to know from all you gun experts out there who do you think makes the best trigger job I can put on the 97 mil spec Springfield gun (new sear, trigger, and hammer) I am looking at Wilson, McCormick and Ed Brown.
Thank for your help

I'm sorry, it's very late and I'm very tired, so perhaps the stupid pills are taking effect -- what is the purpose of the poll at the start of this topic? Are you asking which gun you should have a trigger job done on, or are you asking for the name of a gunsmith to work on your guns?
If the latter, the poll won't provide any useful information and should be removed.

Carry pistols rarely need "trigger jobs." Install a 19# or 20# mainspring to lighten the pull. The sear spring can also be adjusted if need be.

I agree with Chuck S on that, but if you want to go the extra mile on it, I would get the Wilson Combat #190 Ultralight Match Trigger, #299 Series Deluxe Commander Style Hammer, and #314 Deluxe A-2 Sear. That would especially go good on your Mil-Spec.
