I am looking for suggestions on holsters and clothing for concealed carry for someone who is tall and slim. The problem is finding something comfortable to wear (mainly warmer months of year) to cover my Kimber Compact SS 4". I like the 5.11 Tactical Vests as they are handy, but they are not long enough to give sufficient cover as I move or bend. I have tried IWB holsters but find them very uncomfortable with my build. Any suggestions as to what clothiers or high ride holsters, large-tall vests, would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If the vests are too short for you, have you tried a short-sleeve safari jacket? I'm talking about your basic khaki "African professional hunter bush jacket" only with short sleeves. I have one that I use only for concealed carry, not a fashion statement, and it's longer than any of the vests I own. I'm not tall and slim, but my torso is longer than average for my height. I also find that a Bianchi Askins Avenger carries a 1911 fairly high and close to my body.

Like you, I don't like IWB because it means wearing trousers that are oversized, plus it's uncomfortable. I bought a couple of lightweight, unlined cotton or canvas(like) sorts jackets from the Sportsmans Guide a couple of years ago, and for may situations they work very well. They were cheap, and they are not so terribly formal in styling that I look over-dressed if I throw one on with jeans. I just tell anyone who asks that I need the extra pockets.
Other times I wear a tee shirt tucked in and a button-up shirt untucked, usually unbuttoned.
Where I live, though, with a CCW I am legal ... period. Although the state "prefers" completre concealment, if a gust of wind shows the gun for a nanosecond or it "prints" enough for a cop to spot it but it remains generally concealed, I am legal. Other states are stricter.
