Vincit Qui Patitur means "The one who is patient wins." The grip on the left shows a coat of arms, from my research, the family motto Vincit Qui Patitur, as well as the coat of arms and crest is from the Acworth family. All of which are present on the left side grip.

I have a set of grips that the right grip is identical to yours, with the identical coat of arms and motto, but the left one has the rampant colt trademark of Colt Firearms, with the knight's lance intertwined in its forefeet and the spear in its mouth. Inside the grips is the quote"Designed expressly for COLT FIREARMS CUSTOM SHOP by Sid Bell-Tully NY'79."and "designed + copyrighted by Sid Bell-Tully NY 1979.I'm also looking for info on these grips, such as were they a special order, or were they a stock item, Number made, list price, value, etc. They are a neat set of grips, but heavy. I quick Google search on the motto turned up this site:
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jkmacmul/namemeanings-coatofarms/mottoes_A.html
The motto could also be of other families, too, not just Acworth. In fact, one surname that came up in my search was . . . Colt. And adding "Colt" the the Google search turned up this link:
http://www.americaremembers.com/products/CLTRIP/CLTRIP.asp
Here's an excerpt from this page:
To the right of Colt’s portrait is his ancestral “Armsmear Crest,” the source of the Rampant Colt adopted by Samuel Colt for his Company’s logo. The crest carries the Latin motto, vincit qui patitur, “He who perseveres is victorious,” a motto which aptly sums up Colt’s life and the history of the company he founded.
So maybe these grips are just showing off the Colt brand name.
