Usmc 1917

Hi, Newbie here, have purchased the books and am learning. Ran across a 1917 Colt in the 215387-216186 block, which according to Clawson is a USMC piece. All original but finish around 85% and turned to brown, but no pitting (sorry no pics as its in a shop). Any thoughts as to what it should go for?

If it is all original and correct for the vintage, and in the condition you specified, it would likely bring $1k - $1500 on average these days, may be more or less in some regions.

Thanks, I appreciate the reality check. Here in North FLA, it seems beat up, no finish WWI colts start at $1,000.00, decent ones are $2,000 and up.
