Guys I need to get rid of this dang threaded rod for the guide rod.
I need some part numbers to go back to the original design. No tool dissasymbly

Check out Brownells, they've got original Colt stuff available. And you can make a post in the 'to buy - no guns' area. Just read the rules before you post there.
Contact Tuner, he's probably got the parts around his shop somewhere.
If you're wanting to lighten yourself of that 2 piece guide rod.......I can help you out with that! :)

Hey Wichaka, do I remember correctly, that at some time, you told me you had a standard plug and short rod for a Commander? Or is my wife completely right, when she says I have Alcheymer (or whatever)?

Yes, I do have it..........and will be getting it packaged up this week for you. I've had 2 days off the last 2 weeks..........to much work, not enough play!

Its really great for the paycheck...........but I'd like to be around to enjoy it at sometime. :D

Put a lot of hours in when I was your age also, it's nice to not have to do that anymore. Bear says give them horses an apple.
