Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with Magtech .45, FMC 230 gr. ammo?

Hello. I've shot but a few hundred rounds of it in .45 ACP. It shot well enough in terms of grouping and feed/ejection reliability. Velocity was a bit over 820 ft/sec but I cannot find my notes right now pertaining to extreme spreads or standard deviation. It was not the most accurate ammo I've tried in this caliber, but was generally on par with most other range ammunition. I do not care for the cases for reloading. They're a bit thin and hold some bullets with a little less tension than I like.

Best.

I have one 1911 that just loves their leadswc's (200gr.). I also use their 230gr. +p Goldens when I hunt. I shot a Blackbear at about 20 yards. He was about 300+ pounds. It turned both lungs to jelly and broke the off side shoulder, otherwise I use alot of their stuff in .38Special.

I stay away from Magtech ammo, I had one that was low charged on powder and the bullet lodged in the barrel, I called Magtech to see if they would replace the box of ammo and they wouldn't. I do not trust it.
