Is there any benefit to checkering under the trigger guard? Is it just cosmetic? Maybe just personal preference when gripping the handgun.

My RRA came with checkering under the trigger guard. If I had known beforehand I would have insisted on deleting it.

I called Larry at Wilson Combat today. I asked him to cancel my order to do the checkering under the trigger guard on my SS Protector. No problem, I still had time. Thank you for your opinions and for sharing experiences. I will leave the cheese grater in the kitchen.
