Barrel Bushing contact question

How much contact does the top of the "lip edge" on a standard barrel bushing make with the slide? Or is all the contact with the recoil spring cap, barrel and its "lug".

I ask because the inside edge on my slide (where the outer edge lip of my barrel bushing makes contact) seems to have a small radius. Still keep hitting my mark though. No wandering. Just an observation.

Hi

Most people worry about the barrel OD fitting the bushing ID and the bushing OD fitting the slide's ID. The end play in the bushing is not an item that most people sweat.
