Old AO serial numbers?

I have an older AO commander (general), 609xx from West Hurley, and it has been a solid gun for over 10 years. I was wondering when it was made, as the gun does not exhibit any characteristics of the "bad years" AO guns. Anyone have any idea? I got it used in trade for an Omega.

I too, have an old auto that works great. I just finish rebuilding it. Try this number to get when it was made 845-679-3355, i was told that they should have the records.

I've got one of the old one's also. I called and that number is no longer in service.

Thats the number that AO gave me. I gues the old plant went out of business.
