I just received my new rear sight by 10-8, I really liked the design and the fact that it had rear serrations and nice U notch. Upon placing it side by side against my original sight (a Novak) on my SA LW Operator, I can definitely see a difference in the height between both. The 10-8 sight notch is lower (as well as overall height) than the Novak. Does this mean that I will need to find a new front sight to match? I didn't realize that the heights would be different. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I have included a picture for reference.

If the rear sight is lower then the point of impact will also be lower. To maintain the same point of impact you'll most likely need a correspondingly shorter front sight.

Rob, I would send Hilton an email with that photo attached and ask questions. The 10-8 is supposed to match the original Novak front sight and be a drop in part on guns already cut for Novaks.

Garrett,
I will but Hilton is at the SHOT Show and will be away for a week, just thought I'd reach out and see what others may say. I'll send him an email and I'll probably hear back from him within the week. Thanks!
