The Sportsman's Guide 1911A1 Parts Kit

Hope this is the right forum for this posting. Just got a flyer from The Sportsman's Guide and in it there is listed "1911A1 .45 Parts Kit with G.I. Slide". Anyone have information on these kits? Are they all G.I. parts? Is it true that "All parts are brand new". What manufacturer are the kits?

They are not G.I. slides, they are reproductions. Quality is acceptable, but not authentic government issue. I am 99% certain that Sportsmans Guide gets those kits from Sarco, Inc. (www.sarcoinc.com), and you can save about 20% if you buy from Sarco.
