I'm looking for another CCW 1911. Looked at the CDP Kimbers and the CCO Colt Gunsite model, then saw the Wilson KZ Compact. I want the officers size frame and the 4" slide and this seems like a good setup (the KZ) for CCW. 1911 controls and the extra rounds in a nice size package.

I'd like to know what others who might own one thinks about them. What is the fit like? Do they shoot the groups that they(Wilson) say they will? What is the difference between the internal/external extractor models too? And what is a good price for a used one if I could find one? They seem to be hard to come by!

I've been kinda keeping my eyes open for a compact stainless as a mate for my full size KZ.
You're right on them being scarce!!! I'll stumble into one one of these days. Just too bad the mags are proprietary to the KZ only and Wilson is main source.

I have the KZ compact. I've owned now for 1 year. I LOVE IT. Looking for a nice holster if anyone has a good recommendation?
