I picked it up today, and its a serious hunk of steel for the money ;)
Springfield's WW2 GI Model 1911A1.

It has a real decent trigger, and its as slick as current Colts and Kimbers.
I've owned $800 1911's that weren't as well put together.
A real bargain in todays world of overpriced junk.
