New Colt...

Mark Roberts has confirmed (on the "Other" board) that Colt will introduce a new gun in Jan. '07 at the Shot Show. It will be a modified Defender (Model # O7810, ) designed for concealed carry. :D

But, highly unlikely if it is for concealed carry, due to added weight.

Probably, a bobbed hammer, chopped down version to compete with those
little 1911's made by Springfield and Kimber.

I guess I'm being petty, but I think Mark should do some announcing HERE. I get a little perturbed at the EX-admin/mod at the "other" 1911 forum who typically has not much good to say of Colt. I like M1911 forum for its friendlier atmosphere. I suggest to Mark and Colt that they have a substantial goldmine in sales here on this forum......how bout a little PR and sales savvy HERE? That said....Larry told me we ought to buy a couple new 07810 concealed Defenders to help our favorite company out!! Come on, Mark....how bout a M1911 group buy????
