Sirs,

What are the best night sites to get for the XSE? They seem to be dovetailed and have a separate cut in the back. Should I have them drilled or are their appropriate aftermarket sights?

Maybe the sights on mine arent factory. They extend all the way back to the rear of the slide and have a second slot in the slide. They have three dots. Heinie?? Slantpro?

If we do not see a picture of the pistol, it is hard to say. Most probably you have the Novak Low Mounts, but I can't be sure, until I see the pistol.

They look like these Novaks from this angle. However, they are flat and serrated on the back--not like the common novak pattern.

Check the Novak's site, I think they have something specific for this cut. It's not the standard Novak cut, due to that downwards protrusion at the very rear of the sight.

As John said it looks like a standard Novak slide cut.Novak (http://www.novaksights.com/novak_sights.htm)
If you go to the website there are several options to have them installed. In short you may send in the slide for about $16 postage or the whole gun for about $30. If you don't mind adjusting the sights yourself it's much cheaper on postage. The turnaround time is one week or less. Prices are shown on the website.
Also, I like the sights that have a yellow dot on the front and two green ones at the rear. Much easier to line up at night.
