Called Kathy yesterday and ordered the letter. They have a 90 day back log - but I should have done it sooner.
For those of you who don't know what a 10/40 is, here is a photo. They came with both .40 and 10mm barrels, mags and such.

Cool look'n pistol, Starman041. Is that a separate slide stop as well? Very nice!

Starman that is a rare Colt you have and that one is in great shape. I think a letter is a good idea on that pistol.
I hope you are not thinking about selling it.

Sharp pistol and in two calibers makes it double sweet.

Thanks for the nice comments. Yes it came with a slide stop for each caliber.
Sorry for the delayed response, but I had to go to work after I posted yesterday.

Hunter I am not a true collector and I have .45 ACP colts I would rather shoot. Could be up for sale after the letter. Not sure yet.

Would you give Members here dibs? I and/or Larry would be interested.....I kinda owe Larry as I talked him outa one 3 years ago in Charlotte......800 bucks, I thought it was too much!? :butthead:......Oh, BTW....I'm not sure why you need a letter on that one. It's a Lew Horton commissioned piece from 1992. 100 units were produced, original MSRP was 900 bucks. Last....does it have the outer sleeve serialed to the piece?

Yes, it has the proper outer sleeve. Not sure what I want to do with it, but I will let this forum know before I sell it.
Thanks
