Gunsmiths in Portland, Oregon area?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a reputable gunsmith they have worked with in the general Portland area? Someone with some good 1911 experience would be preferable. I am looking to have my trigger on my Springfield Loaded worked on. It is a bit stiff and I'd like it backed down to 4 lbs. Thanks.

I'm up river from you, across from Hood River..........come on up and we'll make a day of it. We'll go over anything you want to know about JMB's wonder!

I'll only lower it to around 4 1/2lbs though.........as I don't do anything lower for anyone anymore. Only my own guns.

But will polish it up and get it feeling slick for ya.........no charge!

You may have to wait a week or two, as I just moved and don't have my shop built yet, but should have a temporary bench by then...........
