I saw prices range from $818.00 up to $899.00 , guess which price I got mine at ? It shoots like a dream,the 135gr from Double Tap are real snappy .This pistol was so easy to shoot accurately !

New CBOB 10mm, I like it, only problem is the brass is going all over form 8' to about 14', hopefully the extractor will settle down. I can handload from light .40 load to hot 10mm load. I'm having fun playing now.

Patriot CBOB. I've seen posts about "custom" trigger guard undercut" but the pistol looks like mine. What exactly is the custom part?
I see a lot of fine aftermarket grips...but I always wanted a stainless gun with cocobolo double diamonds...so I'm staying with stock panel on this one!

Here's my CBOB on it's new stand. It's a little sad because when I picked it up it thought we were going shooting, but it was just a trip to the stand. A little like telling your dog to get in the car - he's all excited until he finds out it's a trip to the vet. ;)

This is a great thread. MY DW EXP 10mm. From the questions from almost two years ago on the first page, there was one grip bushing which wouldn't come out using my standard screwdriver and ended up with a nice scratch on the frame under the grips. It's too deep to simply buff out, but not visible. The only thing I think I would do to this pistol is a trigger guard scallop and checker the front strap.
I've got a set of mahogany slim grips I'm going to put on it next week when my bushings get here.

These are thin grips made for me by "Bawanna", a moderator on the KahrTalk.com forum, from stabilized Box Elder wood.

Notice how he incorporated support of the plunger tube by the grip, despite how thin it is. This shape provides a nice place for my thumb as well.

Here is the other side, pictured in a horsehide High Noon Speedy Spanky with complementing colors.

Bawanna does some of the most graceful checkering I have ever seen. There is no need for a finish coat on the stabilized wood. The resulting satin finish feels very nice in the hand. He has a CBOB of his own, so the fit is excellent, as you can see.

I shot this pistol today for the first time with these grips and it worked really well for me. :D

I dont really have to do much else because this pistol was pretty much perfect for me right out of the box.

I bought this at the end of 2011. I had planned on buying a 1911 in 2011 for years. With the little money I had saved up, I ended buying my fiance an engagement ring instead. She knew that I had given up getting a 1911 in 2011 so that I could buy her the ring, so she and her uncle (who is also on this forum somewhere...) saved up in secret so I could get this. They gave me the cash as an early Xmas present and told me to go 1911 shopping so I could grab one before the end of the year. I couldnt be happier with the decision. Needless to say, Im going to have a pretty awesome wife and Uncle-In-Law in the near future...

The pic is my first time shooting it. 15yds offhand, rapid fire. It shoots good.
