A couple of weeks ago I found a killer deal on a real nice shape CQB Compact,
the standard green/black.After I got it home ,I noticed the slide lock was a little tight ,and removing some finish in its range of movement.I called Wilson,told them I had a used gun with some finish problems,Nick said to send it in for him to look at,but couldnt promise anything,fair enough.My shooting buddy lust happened to be going within a stones throw of Wilson that next week,so he just delivered it to them.Got a call from Nick about a day later,saying there was a problem with the slide lock being fit too tight,and they would refinish the frame under warrenty!SUPERCOOL,while we were talking,I mentioned I didnt really like the green,and could they do it ina different color. "Sure ,what color do you want?" So I had them do the frame in the grey Armor Kote.
Nick kept in contact with me every step of the way by phone,whole process took less than two weeks.Got the gun back yesterday,and it looks great with the grey frame.Here is a quick pic,I get some better ones when the blizzard is over ,and I can get some outside light shots.
Nick was just TOPS in customer service,I am way past impressed.Oh,yeah,
I had to sell my full size Sig GSR to get this one,I am pretty crushed ;) Since it was #2 try by Sig,and still wasnt right.
