Hi

Nice grips. They seem to go well with the park'd finish on the pistol.

I gotta tell ya, those grips look very good on your G.I. Springfield.

Ole' "Blood and Guts" would surely applaud your selection.

Did you happen to change out the barrel and barrel bushing on your G.I.? I notice these are shiny whereas all parkerized G.I. Springfield's I've seen have a dull O.D. finish on the barrel and bushing.

drshame, that looks like a checkered mainspring housing on your G.I. pistol... and those grips are a nice addition.

My, what sharp eyes we all have!

Wide Ring Colt USGI Grips
S&A Checkered, Looped MSH
Kahr-Thompson USGI Style Stubby Grip
USGI/Springfield Slide Release

ILS Removed an replaced with mainly Ed Brown/Hardcore and Colts' Parts.... including new firing pin, fp stop, Wolff springs, barrel bushing and trigger work.

Not really needed, but I wanted it to be as bullet-proof as possible and close to a WW-II USGI.

Also helped to know when to stop, leave it alone and enjoy using it!

Looks Great, usually can't go wrong with USGI plastic grips on a WW-II Repro!
