Tips for more consistent ejection?

My 1911 ejects all over the place. Straight up, straight right, and everywhere in between. What things can I do to make it eject more right-ways and not so vertical?

Check that your extractor is not clocking (turning inside its tunnel). Make sure that the firing pin stop holds the extractor tight and doesn't allow it to move at all.
