I would like to buy this Sistema, but I am not sure as to what model it would be considered, under the BATF C&R. Please refer to

For pictures and a better description of what the problem is.
Thank You

Something is up with the way it parsed the URL.
I belive this is the correct one:

Most likely 1960 production. Most likely for govt sales due to the crest. I'm not well versed on C&R regulations but the pistol seems too new for a 50 yr cutoff. Others will have a clearer understanding of the rules. The stamp resembles those found on the latest imports from Lipsey's.

Hi
My *guess* is that it's ok for C&R since it's a "listed gun". The Yugo SKS's are all much newer than 50 years old, but since they are listed by name they are ok.
Anything (almost) is ok if it's >= 50 years old. Stuff that is newer than that is ok if it's listed.
There is a bunch of stuff on the list that got there for a variety of reasons. Some of it was well over 50 years old even when it was added to the list.

Argentine D.G.F.M. (FMAP) System Colt Model 1927 pistols, marked "Ejercito Argentino" bearing S/Ns less than 24501.
Argentine D.G.F.M. - (F.M.A.P.) System Colt model 1927, cal. 11.25mm commercial variations.
This is how they are listed on the BATF website....

Hi
I am assuming that the pistol is the second one in the listing, since it does not have the military markings on it.

I find it interesting that they have limits on the military contract pistols, but not on the commercial models...

The crest usually signifies a govt sale but possibly to a small agency or small enough order to not justify making a dedicated roll stamp. Also possibly an over run pistol sold commercially or perhaps an over run slide used for a commercial sales.
