Got one of this limited edition handguns not long ago, pretty much in perfect condition, I need a pair of cocolobo grips with the Colt medallions that are fitted for an ambidextrous safety level, just messed up a perfect pair of grips trying to "dremel" them.
Where?
On a more serious deal, the tread for the screw that adjusts the elevation on the Elliason rear sight is stripped, could I just get a bit wider screw as a solution to this?
This Elliason sight is the kind that drops in a slit on the slide, sort of like the adjustable ones on revolvers.
Any chance I can get sights, front and rear for it that are adjustable and have a white outline?
Already tried Brownell's and MidwayUsa, not luck.
I also need them for a Colt Delta Elite 10mm but that one has a very small dovetail mount on the rear and the front one is crimped.

Welcome to the forum.

You would need to ask them if they are relieved for the ambi safety, it doesn't say.

Thanks, great price, I already ordered a pair, if they are not for the ambi safety I will just haved to be more "dremel-carefull" next time.

Step away from the Dremel!!! ;)
Try an Exacto Knife.
You're welcome sir, I have a number of sets of stocks from CDNN, very pleased with them all.

Yeah, a hobby knife is the way to go. I've also used small files. Be sure that you leave enough wood that the safety is supported by the grip panel, rather than over-relieving it, as most pre-fit grips are; supporting the safety with the grip panel wiil prevent you from applying a lot of torque to the tongue/groove joint while you are shooting, and the joint will stay tight, longer. I never buy the pre-fit type, and my ambis are all still nice and tight.
Have you considered trying to save the screwed-up grips with wood dough?

Too late for them but will get the X Acto knife out next time.

I agree with OD on the knife. I recommend you don't try to 'cut' the wood...us a scrape motion instead. Much more controllable therefore less chance of overdoing it.
Just mark the grip and lay it in position while you function the safety lever. Then outline the area with the point and have at it.

Sorry I sould know better, this is the Commander God Cup Special Edition, only 500 where made, the grips are from a 10mm Colt Delta Elite, grabbed the wrong ones from the odds and ends box in a hurry to get to the range.

A Millett sight may be available for the rear. A direct replacement should be available from Champion Gun Sights.
