I am planning to add a weld on magwell to a gun I am building... I want to know which of the avalible wells is the widest.. I have looked on several sites, but I can't tell... I am looking for something that is as wide or slightly wider tha the grip pannels.... If you have one on your gun, I would love to se pictures also...

MSH/Magwell combo's. They are easy to install and look great. Ed Brown and Smith & Alexander make one, just to name a few....

Yes, they are easy to install....I have many of them.... I was, however, asking about WELD IN MAGWELLS.....

The Heinie is actually a bolt on that requires machining the frame but I believe it offers the largest mouth for a single stack.

You might want to call EGW and ask them to compare their weld-on with the others on the market.

Actually, the Heinie is the smallest, not just internally, but more importantly, externally......My main criteria is that it be as wide as, or wider than the grips, since the Heinie sits under specially inlet grips, it is a no-go.... I am more worried about outside dimensions since the inside can be reworked with a mill.... It gets a little harder to add material.... I am hoping to find something like this.....

It is an old Brown Maxi Well... It is out of production now, so i am looking for the next best solution...

Hello
Our well is 5/16 high, 1 1/4 wide and machined from solid.
the inside is machined on a 30 degree angle not a 45 degree.
We have this part in stock
thank you

Yeah... I had kind of narrowed it down to yours... I just wanted some actual specs before I got one..... I had heard good things about one from Briley, but yours is more meaty.... Thanks...
