Well I installed my first "custom" part in my Colt, a Videki trigger :o

Big improvement over the stock one, VERY big. My Colt is a 1991 that is so far stock besides that. I'd like to do a couple more things, mainly install an EGW barrel bushing and a Wilson narrow extended saftey. Seems I can't really find any resources on fitting either. Seen some good pictures online of poorly fit safties and how not to do it..

Maybe someone even has a good book reference(preferably something I can buy through brownells)?

The bushing is easy. Mic the O.D. of your barrel at the muzzle and order the bushing .001" larger I.D. Then get the O.D. of the bushing at .701" or .702"
Get a bushing mandrel, chuck it in a drill press and turn the O.D. down until it goes in finger tight.

As for the safety........do a search on here.......I've explained the how-to before.

If you can't find it, let me know and I'll explain it again.
