What is Normal Barrel Hood Wear?

What kind of wear is to be expected on the barrel hood if any? My new Kimber Eclipse Custom II has 325 rounds through it and it has functioned perfectly with no problems of any kind. The narrel hood area seems to be scratched/chaffed up though like someone has hit it with some 200 grit sandpapper or something, mainly on each end of the hood and not so much in the middle. I don't know if this is a problem or not, just thought I would ask.

Tolly, as long as the lugs aren't damaged on the top front corners from insufficient drop clearance aor linkdown/drop timing, a little scuffing on the top of the hood isn't anything to worry about.
