M6X vs. TLR-2

Ok so I want a light with laser combo, I've used the M6 and like it. However I have heard great things about the TLR-2. I just need to know which one to put on my x-mas wish list.

Definitely go with the TLR-2.

TRL 2 - I'd go with a LED over regular bulb for a weapon mounted light. Plus, the TRL 2 will likely fit in any holster you have for the M6, i.e. 6004, where the M3x and M6x will not fit in holsters for the M3 and M6, respectively.

I switched from a M3 to a TRL 1 and am using the same Safariland 6004 and haven't looked back.
