Double Eagle .45 Spare Parts

I have a Double Eagle in .45 caliber that I really like. Everything about it except the trigger guard that is. Since Colt no longer manufactures this gun what parts do you recommend that I purchase to ensure that I can continue to shoot this gun for many many more years to come ?

What do you suggest to update as well ?
