First, I know, I need to post some pics. As soon as my wife and I are speaking again, I will borrow her digital camera...
Second, I have not shot it yet, so I cannot post a range report at this time. Further, I am recovering from a broken shoulder and will not be able to shoot it for at least a month.
However, I can comment on how it appears. This finish is sweet. I did not opt for the hard chrome or the black T; went with plain old blue and am not diappointed. I was comparing it to my Ed Brown Kobra Carry and honestly, I have a hard time deciding which one I like better. The Brown is a two tone and has the Kobra scales on the front strap and slide. The RRA has conventional rear serrations on the slide and I went with 30lpi on the front and back (yes, even the bobtail mainspring housing). The bushing was pretty tight on the Kart; with my shoulder in its current condition, I had a bit of a time assembling it. It comes with a metal bushing tool even though it has the shorty guide rod. I went with the Novak tritiums and the 4.25" barrel. Overall, I it seems that RRA made me a very high quality pistol and it appears to be worth the wait. I am looking forward to putting some rounds through it and reporting back.
