STI Spartan update

Just a quick update, I received an email from Brazos regarding the STI Spartan. They stated they will have the pic's posted in a couple of weeks as well as STI website should also have it posted. Also Dawsons emailed me stating they have a prototype in house already.

What is the Spartan? I seemed to have missed any info on it

I believe it is the 1911 that STI will be producing using Armscor/RIA frames and slides and STI internals.

If you check out www.shootinggallery.tv, host Michael Bane wrote an article about the STI Spartan. Once your in the web page, click on news/articles on the left hand side and look for the article titled" The cutting edge gets a little sharper". Looks like he gave it a nice review. No pic's, but good info.

That's probably because he hasn't even seen one. There aren't any yet in US. Not even the final details about it are set.
