:sd: I, too, am saddened by his passing. I reflect that all of us on this forum are, indeed, getting older. Our time together is short, and I am glad that we are making the most of it together. From time-to-time I see some of our brothers getting a little irritated at others for their responses. Please remember what I said, our time together is short. Let us not hurt each other and let us savor the precious few moments we have together as friends on this wonderful forum, and thank God above that we may gather and enjoy the freedoms that most of the world will never know.

Godspeed, brother, and rest in peace.

"All mankind is of one author, and is one volume; when one man dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language; and every chapter must be so translated...As therefore the bell that rings to a sermon, calls not upon the preacher only, but upon the congregation to come: so this bell calls us all: but how much more me, who am brought so near the door by this sickness....No man is an island, entire of itself...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."

Godspeed, brother; and may God, with open arms, welcome home his good and faithful son.

Eileen, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family on this very sad occasion. I have been in your situation before and it takes time to get over your loss!! Take care and hang in there, it will get better. Just always remember the good times that you have had with your father and remember he will always be in your heart!
